Why are you going to South Asia?

It’s our calling and our hearts desire. This has been a long process for all of us and throughout the process the Lord has continually affirmed His call for us to go. We want to serve unreached peoples, those who suffer in poverty, and with the church.

It sounds like they have a great ministry in South Asia, why do they want you?

Great question, in fact I often ask this to the church leaders there and say why do you want us? They often respond with a big smile and gracious answer that we need each other. They need us to help with training, church-planting, theological education, and being a witness in a dark place. We need them to lead us, help us serve their neighbors, and show us the beauty of the Glory of Christ in another tongue, tribe, and nation.

Don’t you need a larger team?

We do, and we would love for you to consider joining us or recommending a person or family who is interested in this type of reformed, tribal, church planting missions.

It’s risky going there, why don’t you go somewhere safer?

Actually, it’s much riskier to disobey God. And to give some perspective, it’s risky getting in the car each day, or for that matter getting out of bed. But we believe that God is in control of all things and He leads our paths. The safest place is in His will. Christ has given us everything and we really believe we have nothing to lose. That doesn’t mean we are foolish, but we are willing to take risks for His sake.
